Today's walk from Melbourne, in generally sunny weather, sometimes with a cool breeze, saw 13 walkers set off from the Market Place for a 4 mile trip; taking in the Pool, Johnny Vegas's Field of Dreams Glamping Site and the medieval deer park. We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
