31 walkers and 1 dog enjoyed today's 4 mile walk around Shipley park. We even met a bird of prey. We had an unexpected diversion due to tree felling, but still a great walk, with drinks afterwards in the cafe. Thanks to Kaz for leading and for the photos
We are a local group of the Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
