There were 17 walkers from Erewash, Amber Valley and Worksop groups on today’s 8 mile walk from Crich and covering Wingfield park and Pentrich. There was a bit of drizzle just before we set off but then the sun came out for the rest of the day. Thanks to Brian for leading and to Raman for the photos.
We are a local group of the Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
