These walks are provided for new and existing members who wish to build up their fitness levels, and for those members who enjoy walking! They are easy walking with the minimum of stiles and of 3-4 miles long. Non members are welcome to participate but it is expected that they join the Ramblers Association after undertaking 3 walks. Wednesday January 4th. Trent Meadows Walk , 3.5 miles. Meet at Trent Meadows car park off Meadow Lane Long Eaton (SK503327) at 10.30am.
Wednesday February 8th, The Snowdrop Walk, 4 miles. Meet at Straws Bridge, Ilkeston, off A609 (SK453413) at 10.30am.
Wednesday March 7th. Stapleford Hill, Nottingham Canal, and Trowell. 3.3 miles. Meet at Bramcote Hills car park, Bramcote (SK 499385) at 10.30am.
Wednesday April 4th. Church Wilne. 4 miles. Meet at car park opposite St Chads church (SK448318) at 10.30am.
Wednesday May 2nd. Mapperley 4 miles. Meet at the church Mapperley village (SK435430) at 10.30am.
Wednesday June 6th. he Hermits Walk, 3.5 miles. Meet at the Pioneer Meadows nature reserve, Kirk Hallam (SK454397) at 10.30 am.
